Delete Your Mindirus Account

Applies to the Mindirus app (com.mindirus.app) and mindirus.com

You can delete your Mindirus account and all associated data at any time. You do not need to contact us first, and there is no waiting period.

Delete from inside the app

Open Mindirus and sign in.
Go to Profile (bottom navigation on mobile, top-right on web).
Scroll to Delete account.
Confirm when prompted. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account, with the subject "Account deletion request". We will verify ownership and delete the account within 30 days, and usually within a few business days.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Account details — name, email address, password hash	Immediately
Study history — quiz answers, sessions, scores, progress, streaks and XP	Immediately
Study plans, bookmarks, notes and flashcard progress	Immediately
Feedback you submitted and your notification preferences	Immediately
Any active subscription — cancelled as part of deletion	Immediately

What is retained, and why

Payment and tax records — retained by our payment processors (Stripe, Apple, Google) for the period required by financial and tax law. These are held by those processors, not by Mindirus, and we never store card details.
Aggregated, anonymous statistics — question difficulty and similar figures that cannot be linked back to you or any individual.
Security and abuse logs — retained for up to 90 days where required to protect the service, then deleted.

Subscriptions

If you subscribed through Google Play or the Apple App Store, deleting your account cancels access but does not by itself cancel billing with the store. To stop future charges, also cancel the subscription in your store account: Google Play subscriptions or Apple subscriptions. Web subscriptions purchased through Stripe are cancelled automatically when you delete your account.

Export your data first

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want a copy of your data, request an export from Profile → Export my data before deleting. The export includes your study history, progress and account details.
